Padawan + KL = FUN (Part 2)

Ok here's the KL part of the post

~DAY 1~
So it was a fine Tuesday morn when I woke up to " You're catching your plane to KL today!" kinda thrill in me and yea it took me quite a while to do final checkings before finally confirming to go off to the airport (Trust me, i had a hard time deciding what to bring and what not to bring to KL the night before and so did Derrick since he called me twice and asked about what to wear =.= lol)

Anyways, when i arrived at the airport, saw all the people (well most of the people la some were late) who were going to KL getting ready to like put tags on their bags and get their boarding passes While waiting, i went for a toilet break and mingled around after that

When we were about to go into the check-in lounge or counter, i couldn't find my IC I was obviously freaked out and threw all my stuff out to find my card ( thanks for waiting for me by the way, Jess and Dawn =) ) and i finally found it It was deep deep down in my bag (smart me ugh)

Managed to check-in and when we were going into the waiting lounge, i decided to have another toiler break While in the toilet, i checked my pockets for all the things i need and i once again, couldn't find my IC ugh I panicked a lil but everything was fine when i got back to the waiting lounge- The teachers had my card, apparently i dropped it somewhere and someone (namingly WILSON!!) found my card (thanks =) ) and gave it to the teachers THANK GOODNESS

When we board the airplane, it was kinda squeezy and yea we made it through and got into the airplane I sat with James and we played Big 2 oh and Miss Chin and Cikgu Chai sat in front of us hahaha so yea (we were cautious to play even though they knew we were playing cards lol) Next to me was emm Joel (i think) and behind of me was Karen (TSAI) with Jung Wei next to her

Anyways, ate lunch and it was (dare i say it?) not something that i would eat but yea I HAD TO Reached KL at about an hour plus time and got our luggage just in time Got on the boy's bus which was led by Sharon and the two teachers- Cikgu Danny and Miss Vivien I sat with Wilson (behind Miss Vivien) and we chatted about what we gonna do and buy and stuff like that

Later Miss Vivien turned back and said " One(points at me) two(points at Wilson) three(points at Joshua) four(ponts at Winston) five (points at Derrick) six (points at James) Later you guys go to the girls' bus after the first stop"



And the first stop was at Bird park which was filled with parrots, magpie, peacock, hornbill and lots more (Don't have any pictures hehe) We went for a bird show where we were introduced to all the different birds and the tricks they do and stuff so yea, it was fun

Later we went to the girls' bus after we finished the first stop and we went to the Butterfly park next.. The girls' bus was led by Chen (funny funny woman! loved her! most memorable- ha..hmm..hahahhahahahahaha), Miss Iris( tour guide from Kuching) and two teachers- Miss Chin and Cikgu Chai

We proceeded to Butterfly park with our driver MR MUMU! and went into the gardens where all the butterflies were and we saw the Sarawak butterfly- Rajah Brooke and yea We went off for dinner at Saigon Village ( a Vietnamese restaurant) and had a small dinner (oh yea, on the way there, we heard that the road to our hotel from Saigon Village was an hour trip back and Dawn was like " I want to go SHOPPING!" and she repeated that more than 100 times everytime i talked to her lol)

Finished dinner and was kinda tired but didn't rest much and went off to check in into our rooms and i was to room with Pius (surprising?-yes.. me too) We roomed at 733 (next to Kenric's room i think) I quickly put my bags and went off to the mall and looked for Dawn they all Theyw ere at a shop called Diva which sells accessories and yea GIRLS

We then went walking around and later that night we decided to go shopping for like snacks for that night (well guys shop for guys and girl shop for girl la and i was the only guy =.=) I bought a carton of yogurt (six small cups), a bag of Chipster, a canister of Pringles, 3 Hot Cups and 2 cans of Cincau (grass jelly) and that cost me RM22 =( ON THE FIRST NIGHT lol

Went back to my room, unpacked and took a bath Pius bought some shirts and jeans to try on so yea Got ready to sleep and yea, dozed off by 11 plus after the teachers checked our rooms and taped them

~DAY 2~
The next day we woke up at 5.40+ and got ready by 6.15+ Went down for breakfast at the small restaurant and then got ready to go off by 8+ We went to take a group picture at the Twin Tower and the picture cos t RM15 for a large copy

Next,we went to Petrosains at KLCC and before that we had 20 minutes of free time before going into the Petrosains exhibition at KLCC Got on the ride into the exhibition and played there till 11+ Went for lunch at Little Penang at the mall and it cost RM19.50 for food and drink

Later went for shopping with James, Derrick and Daryl around the mall and also with Huai Xuan after a while James bought a shirt for his dad and i found a funny card at Parkson- Your Extraordinary Moment (inside joke You have to read the card to know what i mean)

Went off to Aquarius after meeting up together and saw a lot of fish there like..

Went to Berjaya Times Square after that and i went solo shopping (well window shopping la) Saw like Giordano shirts that cost RM39 and they offered 2 shirts for RM60 so why not..Bought 3 shirts shared half half with Elisa (she bought 3 also) and we split the bill RM90 each so yea (Will take pictures of it if i wear it soon)

Later went to walk around the whole mall and met with Geraldine and Haidee.. Joked around with them a lil till we went off for dinner and we were at this Chinese restaurant **Before that, we went to buy ba gua (pork jerky i think that's what it's called)**

The dinner was started with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY song to Von and i didn't know it was her birthday o.O lol Anyways we sang along and yea kinda joined in the party and later continue eating dinner Had her birthday cake as dessert and went back home to Midvalley for more shopping

Went to check out Romp and other shops Also, went back to Jusco for more food but the line was too long so didn't instead AND! I dropped like a whole set of those smarties holders thing-a-ma-jig while helping to get reload for Dawn lol (Thanks for helping me pick up some Jess =) )

So that's about it for the second day

Padawan + KL = FUN (Part 1)

Hey guys am back from KL =) Didn't blog yesterday coz was too tired to blog straight after i came back or even after going for dance class hehe So i'll be talking about, of course, our gorgeous, fabulous, awesome trip to Padawan and KL

So last Monday we went for a trip to SMK Padawan I woke up early as it was a request by Yolanda to practise at school early in the morn like 6.30 =) So i managed to wake up at 6 plus got ready and arrived at school just a lil pass 6.30 WAS SO SLEEPY that when Yolanda and i wanna start going through the steps my mind was blank and my brain was still in Zzz mode lol But we managed to dance all the 2 dances perfectly in time

The rest of the dancers came a lil late like at 7am plus and we managed to borrow a radio from Miss Chin to practise and yea we did fine and was confident enough =) We went down to assemble at the car porch and waited for the bus to come We got into the bus and drove off to Padawan which was an hour plus ride

We sang "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" to our friend- WILSON!! in the bus and yea, hope he liked it =) We arrived at SMK Padawan and saw like the most gorgeous, clean school that we've ever seen SPOTLESS and their compound was just big with like 5 blocks of buildings i think.. With 3 or 4 gardens, a canteen, a few asrama (it's not asmara la!) and a huge hall They were major in BM but do speak English too

We went up to their Resource room which was like a computer room/ library and we had a lil welcoming session with a speech from the Headmaster and the Emcees and of course, Miss Ng.. The Headmaster kept saying " Oh, i've known Miss Annie for many many years now through ..." and it's not even Miss Annie- IT'S MISS VIVIEN lol We had a lil snack for the morning and then had like a ice-breaker game which i found was ok la..Not really interesting but at least we get to know the names =)

The first session was a game where we would say like for example " My name is Chik Sheng and I'm a teapot" and later the next person have to say, "His name is Chik Sheng and he is a teapot. I am *** and I am a ..." The "..." is related to a type of category like maybe gardening or anything at all.. Our group had 2 Christinas and i don't remember the other girls name but there was another girl named Lyana

After that session we had the second session of ice-breaker games where all my dancers are needed to dance Cha Cha We taught the crowd how to dance it and later performed our Bole Chudiyan + Jai Ho to them and they had to copy our moves to win like prizes.. Loved how Cikgu Danny danced the part when the song was like " Catch me, Catch me, Catch me, Come on catch me, I want you now" hahahaha

After that we had a tour around the school and was shown like the asrama and the school compound which was nice We then had lunch which was asrama food and it was rice with just fish and a few veges While eating we chatted a lil and Brutus, a guy we met while eating, said that Luq and Fira looked kinda like brother and sister which was not true and Yong told Lyana that Luq and Fira were together (lol) Lyana then joked to Yong that she and the other girls shouldn't go kacau Luq or else Fira would get jealous or something hahaha

Before we left, i met another few more people- One was Viany and the other one i could only catch her last name which was Ericca so yea We all partied for the last time at Padawan with the dances that we taught to the crowd that morn and went off back to school

We arrived at school at 2.30 plus and there were a few whom their parents come at 3pm or like Wilson and I- 3.30pm so we hang around in class and we all played with our phone like this:

Lil Nyonya? or Little Nyonya?

Hey guys, another day at practice but i'm alone here since all the dancers all go for Maths camp hahaha LONER! Just showed Cikgu Govin the complicated one he said it was good so hopefully one hour is sufficient today from 4-5 =)

So i've been re-watching this (in picture) lately



( Xiao Niang Re which is also known as The Little Nyonya )

As you can see from the picture i only reached up to 3 episodes on Youtube Joce reached episode 16 lo (so far away hahaha) But at least i watch finish in AEC already so yea

Anyways this has been my companion for 2 hours..



Yes, my trusty yet laggy laptop with my cacat earphone and my wireless mouse =)

At approximately after 2 hours this is me



BORED so yea i camwhored but only two pictures so yea couldn't make the bored face so i used the dazed face

So from the show i learn this two words ( though i've forgotten how to read it but i remember what it means )



( The thing was side ways so i had to take the picture side ways also ) The 2 words put together means to remember your ancestors and to never lupa diri and your family

Oh Gonna give you the full review hahaha SPOILER! (Joce, if you're reading this stop reading after this =) lol ) Ok,The movie stars Jeanette Aw ( or is it Au? ) as 2 characters- a mum and her own daughter She acts as Ju Xiang who is both deaf and mute yet she is good at lip-reading and has good culinary skills She is then forced to marry a abuser ( Charlie Zhang ) who would normally torcher girls who are virgins and stuff like that but she managed to escape with the help of a Japanese man whom she marries later

The husband left her as he had army duties to pursue and she waited for him after day and night, waiting outside the studio (which is the house) every night in hopes that he would come back As she waits, she is pregnant and later bores a child (which after she grows up she look exactly like the mum la) without the help of a bidan (midwife)

She then meets a kind gentleman by the name of Chen Sheng ( If i'm not mistaken ) and the guy falls in love with her but she did not know that.. One day, her husband comes back and they were reunited.. As the Japanese were attacking, Chen Sheng help Ju Xiang and her daughter escape but not the husband because the husband wanted to stay back

Ju Xiang was relunctant to leave but was knocked off by her husband and she was boarded on the ship to England with her old family (which didn't want her anymore as she married a Japanese and other reasons) She wanted to leave so bad that her daughter and her went out to ask the captain to stop the ship but on the way to the captain's cabin she met with her Stepmother (is it considered as one?)

Anyways, the stepmother and her daughter brought Ju Xiang and her daughter ( Yue Niang ) to the back of the ship and shoved both of them into the sea.. The two floated back to the shores of their home and Ju Xiang went back to find the husband They reunited again and was happy for now

When the Japanese attacked, Ju Xiang and her family decided to hide away from the Japanese in a old warehouse Unfortunately, the Japanese managed to find them and Ju Xiang was forced to cook for the General.. After she cooked, she was almost raped but she did not but she suffered great pain after being thrown to the floor and hitting the bench beside her

After her husband manage to kill the General, they tried to escape once again but was caught by the Japanese.. The husband asked Ju Xiang to leave with her daughter ( or at least go into hiding la) The husband later was killed and Ju Xiang died in the end also due to internal bleeding She left Yue Niang a Kam Cheng ( which is like a pot which is to put the marriage dumplings ) And also the address to the Huang's house ( The stepmother's family )

Yue Niang carried her mother's corpse and asked for her father's corpse from the Japanese and later had a burial for them She then went off to the location that the mother gave her She found he house and there were only 2 people there- Her grandma and the loyal maid, Tao Jie

She learned culinary skills for a number years until she became a teen ( i think ) After she grew up and the war was over, the Huang family came back to the house and saw her.. They were shocked and wanted to ask her to leave but they compromised and said that Yue Niang will be like the mother- that means to serve the Huang family as a maid

In the house, many things happened and sooner or later she meets a man whom she falls in love with in the end It was Chen Xi- one of the most famous rich family's grandson, he (according to the story) was handsome and smart so yea

Tian Lan ( Yue Niang's grandmother) later dies after seeing Xiu Juan ( Cousin of Huang family) and Xiu Juan's brother-in-law have an affair.. She was accidentally pushed out of the window when the guy ( Jin Cheng ) tried to quiet her down

Yue Niang ( who was out of the house ) didn't know this but sooner or later did and went to Huang family for her grandmother's corpse They were relunctant but later did gave her the body of her grandmother

As the story goes along, Yue Niang meets with Liu Yi Dao, a pig butcher.. He is harsh yet has filial piety towards his mum.. They were asked many times to marry by Liu Yi Dao's mum and many times Yue Niang rejected but later she marries him after her heartbreak by Chen Xi

They got married but they took each other as abang and adik angkat la then they like worked together and made a living Sooner or later she meets with an ang mo ( Paul )and marries him lo

Oh before all this happy happy ending thingy, there's a sad, pitiful and touching part- Xiu Fen ( who is Xiu Juan's older sister ) had 3 children- 2 girls and a boy One is called Alexandra ( the guy ), and i forgot the other two girls' name aii Emm anyways, the two girls fall in love with Chen Xi then the older sister like keep sabotaging her younger sister's chances of marrying Chen Xi

Her younger sister was then raped and was forced to marry Charlie Zhang's son- Robert Zhang.. She was torchered and finally pregnant (due to being rape i guess) and later she became a lil loco as she was like treated as a prostitute by her husband-having her to sleep with one of the business partners and stuff like that

While on the other hand, the older sister was married to Chen Xi but her fate was like her aunty ( Mei Yu ) who was like married over to the Chen family without the will of the husband la So yea apparently the whole story is like that la (something like that) I miss out a lot of details so watch it and you'll understand more!

One Two Step

Hey guys, am blogging from school Currently have dance practice with Joce and the gang ( includes Dawn, Karen, Ned, Yolanda, Adrenne, Luqman, Chung Han and King Yew ) Am blogging while resting and while Joce is practising and teaching the guys for Jai Ho so yea

We're doing Jai Ho for Padawan's closing ceremony and we're doing Cha Cha as a game for those who are going so hopefully it's a success Have had practices for like a few days straight! Some days are like half day (like today) where we'll go home at 12.30pm and other days we do it whole day (like yesterday) till maybe 4 or 5pm in the afternoon so yea HARDCORE TRAINING =)

Some more good news, Cikgu Govin asked if we could they could do like a Jai Ho performance for the annual dinner but i'm not sure if we are to teach them or perform the dance ourselves so yea Hopefully it's the first one la coz it's like time to bond with some of the teachers ( i guess) and also to have a bond with the new teachers for Form 4 next year

Emm, nothing much happening but we're having like a end of the year party ( wait did i talk about it yet?) emm i think maybe i have but nevermind if i did, i'll just repeat what i said =) We're having a party for the people who are going off for further studies plus it's a halloween party ( Might be going as Miss Swan lol) So yea, i guess it'll be fun =)

175 Cafe

Sorry for the late post but copied Dawn's idea to do like a small review on 175 Cafe

So 175 is open like for a few months already by Mark's bro at Padungan ( opposite Bing but upper) ok, you wouldn't get what my directions are coz i suck in giving directions but anyways for more info ask Mark

Ok, over at 175 you have the cool water feature where customers are allowed to have fish spa therapy where the small fish will eat off your dead skin and hopefully your skin will be cleaner and smoother =) FYI all customers who eat and drink there are only allowed to use the fish spa and all customers are only allowed 15 mins in it

Enough on the intro (will have photos after this- mind my bad photography skills)

Went to 175 last Saturday for what i thought was a 6/3 reunion BUT nobody was there except Dawn, Mark, me and 3 ang mos which are from New Zealand by the way..2 charming lads and a cute lil girl

We have Nathan, Joshua and Holly.. Apparently they're going to Indonesia today (heard from Dawn) for some church thing i think We played card games like Cheat (or the original name- BULLSHIT!), Big 2 ( Scum =) ), and there was one which was unknown to us but fun to play i think it's Assumption (i'll call it Assumption coz you have to assume how many times you win first before you play)

Messaged Yong who was in facial ( didn't bring me =.= ) after the dental appointment so yea Mark and the trios had to leave early, leaving me and Dawn at the cafe, not knowing what to do We stayed there till 5pm and Dawn chia-ed me french fries ( RM 4 i think and it's a lot of fries =) ) and Garlic Bread ( RM 5 for 6 pieces ) We took pictures for a while then sat down and read fashion magazines ( Dawn had her fav Seventeen magazine and i had Female! magazine which i was just flipping through)

Anyways, was picked up and went to a car hardware stall owned by Yan Chi's mum ( not that close to her but yea at least i know people by name ) Her mum, being close to my mum, gave me tips on Form 4 which i do appreciate (thanks by the way) and we chatted till i went home

That was all for Saturday and i slept the whole afternoon yesterday coz i had to wake up at 6.30am on a weekend so wasn't used to it Went to church early in the morning and was so sleepy that i almost fall asleep when Father Lim gave the Homily lol Managed to go shopping till 1 and slept till 4 Woke up and got ready for dinner at 7

Went to Causeway Bay for dinner and ordered Baked rice with Sliced beef in Twin Sauce which was awesome Then went home and couldn't sleep till 12 aii

Had Career Talk today It wasn't even from A-Z lol (LIAR) but it was good that it wasn't from A-Z or else by C i would have fallen into a deep sleep The guy who spoked, Brandon, talked about the Top 10 most wanted people in the society (like plumbers and manufacuring workers) and trust me thank goodness there was a half and hour break for us to rest and he finished till 7 when we had our break

The rest of the time (after the break) was the continuation of the talk and then he went into the degrees and diplomas and stuff like that which was a blur for me coz i didn't know what was a bachelor degree, master degree and Doctor's degree even after he explained and there were like so many diplomas (who would have thought?) He finally ended the talk with some videos of like hotelliers and the TOMORROW thing The Tomorrow thing was actually inspirational especially when there was the part like if we don't do this this this, the future will be like this this this and then if we do good, the world would be like that that that so yea it was nice

Was let out at 11.50 stayed in class and ate chocolate till finish and waited for my car till 12.30+ Dawn and Mike went off for party planning for the end-of-the-year gathering Hopefully it'll be fun

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN!

The party was last night at her house with about 20+ people there from different classes and we all had fun eating and playing cards like Big 2, bandak (did i spell it right?)/ blackjack and speed! lol We had a session where we were playing this new game (i think it's new) and we have to randomly pick a card out of the deck and those who get the smallest number or get an A will automatically be dared to do something so that was fun

There were a few dares that were outrageous lol Like Mike hugging both Adrenne and Zhi Li haha Just a lot of hugging that night and screaming and shouting " Go!! Hug her!" or him..So yea it was fun to see all their reactions haha

While we were waiting to eat (or was it after i forgot) Agnes and I took pictures of Wilson posing

Anyways, the food was fabulous and fulfilling yet simple =) Vincent was playing the piano after we ate and before actually and so did Jesmond heard him modifying the song "Dream" i think and Dawn, Yong, Joce, Ned, Fira and Sharon were singing upstairs with Luqman taking videos of them singing songs like " Lucky" and " Love bug"

We took pictures outside before eating cake and there were a lot of failed jumping photos coz we all jumped at the wrong time but after that we gave up and luckily the parents on the light outside and we took with the light above us so yea Joce was like holding to me so yea ( We're not together by the way =) )

Stayed at Karen's house till 10.30pm.. Before i left, gave her a hug and a wish or two and went off and i also did say bye to Yong and Dawn ( Joce went home early already so yea haha)

Stayed up till 12.30 and texted Karen to wish her again and yea

It's Over

Hey guys, have been enjoying my off day today going online and watching youtube.. Nothing much happen today but yesterday was tonnes of fun (well going to Spring is la lol Not after PMR =) )

As you guys know, yesterday was the day that our living hell ended and actually i didn't really feel that it was anything big..But it was sure happy for me to end my PMR with an easy paper =) Wasted my whole night studying so detailed about KH haiz Anyways gonna tell you day-by-day "going through" during PMR now before i get to my night at Spring

Ok so

DAY 1
We had only 2 papers but it's only one subject- BM (the ever more infamous paper)
I managed to get 29/40 for Paper 1 (teacher gave us back the paper) and for Paper 2, i'm just hoping for the best coz i didn't have much time to finish my bahagian C and D but i did anyways la.. For the last 10 minutes i only wrote till the second isi for Bahagian C and was shocked when the examiner said " Sekarang tinggal 10 minit lagi" and i looked up at the clock and it was 11.40am.. I thought the paper ends at 12pm so i hurried up finishing my Bahagian C with 3 isi only and finished up with my short short short essay on Bahagian D hopefully what i wrote was good enough for an A!

DAY 2
We had 4 papers- 2 subjects- English and Science
For English it was a joy ride along the roller-coaster (sorry am thinking about a game) Anyways, finished my Paper 1 and 2 with joy and went for the next paper which was Science Paper 1.. Paper 1 was easy and we all thought that it was easy until we saw paper 2 There were a few questions that really made me think especially the cross-pollination one HOW WOULD WE KNOW?? We didn't learn the methods in our syllabus
FYI I'm not blaming anyone =)

DAY 3
We had only 1 paper- Geo
Geo was ok as far as i'm concerned There were a few tricky ones so yea

DAY 4
We had 3 papers- 2 subjects- Maths and Sejarah
Maths paper 1 and 2 were fine for me since we could use calculator for Paper 1 i don't think we have much problem but i did make one mistake and that mistake was due to not reading the question properly =.= Sejarah was really quite a challenge but overall it was ok =)

DAY 5
We had only 1 paper- KHB-PK/ERT
It was the most easiest paper that i've sat throughout my whole form 3 so yea am confident in it

Apparently when the paper ended, we left the examination hall and i saw Dawn they all outside and i was waiting actually for someone or a group of people to shout as i was walking to the stairs but nobody screamed nor shout.. Yvonne claimed to have shouted la so yea but seriously we were so quiet and we just walk to the car pouch and waited for our car hahaha

Well i stayed back to play captain's ball (i almost typed volleyball) Had fun playing sports again especially when our P.E. was taken for PMR subjects but it was a muscle sore since we didn't exercise for quite a long time haha we got all tired easily hehe Went up to cool down and fooled around with Yong's phone and taking videos like runway and random takings hahahaha

At night went out for Mervin's farewell ( he left for Singapore today ) Ate at Manhattan Fish Market and boy, it was expensive..Had about 12+ people there We had..

We ate a seafood platter and went off shopping for stuff Dawn managed to buy her dad a present at Padini, where we saw Marcus and his mum Later we went up to MBO area and went looking for T-shirts and Mag was like " Can we go to the book store?" and she brought her books to study lol **Those are not reference books! Those are ENCYCLOPEDIAS coz they were so much thicker than typical reference books**

I went to buy Himalya's cream but no stock so went home before Dawn and Joce and Mag (lol)

Going back to school tomorrow for SPM briefing Apparently after an exam, they're stressing us with another and here's an advice from Mag - Start reading your Form 4 syllabus coz it's gonna be hard.. So yea gonna start reading maybe next month or so since we're gonna be hearing where we're going next year (as in what stream) I pray for Science! Am ready for Chemistry tuition already (thanks by the way Elle! love you!)
