Team building- Sleo! We're silent but we're deadly

Hey guys, super late post on the team building thingy which was held last last Monday with the prefects and also with the organisers- Taylor's College

We went there early in the morn and our ice-breaker was a game which emphasizes on communication because we were to arrange ourselves according to our birthdays without talking We were to use only sign language or any other ways of communication besides talking or whispering

We managed to arrange ourselves in the correct order but there were like 2/3 minor mistakes so yea Next, the Taylor's College people came and we started our day with a lil dance which they found on the internet which was ... GRATITUDE DANCE

**The dance is really simple, look it up in youtube or something =) **

After that we had our briefings on what is team-building and what you need to be a good team leader and helper and off we go on our first game- War cry We were to make like a war cry / cheer for our group (which we were break into using animal names) and yea ours were too silent to make a war cry and also too soft to make a war cry

Our team, which was Snake was named Sleo and yea, our war cry was kinda weird but fun to do..Our team consist of Caroline, Chi En, Karen Tsai, Jordan Siaw, Alvin, Elaine, Joyce Sim, Lisa and me ( If i missed anyone, sorry)

After that we did the war cry on stage and break off for break

After break, we had a small game of "Doctor" where we'll tangle ourselves and we have to break free by using our brains and also strategy We restarted after finding out that we couldn' break ourselves free (well our team actually) and then we were the last team to finish as well == It was kinda weird having to twist and turn and kinda hard too

Lastly, we had a scavenger hunt where we were to find random materials which can be found la

We had to find like:-

a) 5 brown leaves ( NOT to be drawn )
b) 5 stones *or was it rock?*( Different sizes)
c) Taylor's logo
d) A5 size paper
e) 2 lip print
f) 1 foot print
g) Hibiscus (not to be plucked, drawn or pick from the floor)
h) KLCC tower (not to be drawn)
i) Congkak (not to be drawn)
j) 3 live ants

We also had questions to answer

a) Find the car with the car plat no. ... and find the expiry date of the road tax

b) When was Lodge Secondary school officiated

c) 5 unique food in Malaysia (or Sarawak, i forgot)

d) and one more, i forgot

After finding all, we met up back at the hall and later had evaluation on our collected items and questions and then yea, we were done for the day with 3 videos- one on the Madagascar song ( I like to move it,move it ), one on the day that we had throughout the whole day and lastly, one on when we were doing the Gratitude dance haha

We thank them and we broke off..That day, i was having dance practice with Huai Xuan and Kimberly Pang and our new recruit, Joshua Kung (who gave up in the end coz he found the steps complicated so yea) We had the dance thingy for the Halloween party which was going to be held 2 days later

Helped Kimberly Pang with hip movement and Joshua on steps After 2 hours or so, we all gave up and sat at the laptop that i brought and listened to chinese songs..Huai Xuan found her alternative performance for the party and yea, she wanted to sing with Kim but Kim wanted to dance but we didn't have enough partners so everything was called off except for Huai Xuan singing la

They were going to sing Cry but after Kim said no, she found Cindy to sing so yea

Padawan + KL = FUN (Part 4)

~LAST DAY!~ (phew)

Sorry, for the last post, i couldn't fit in the last day so yea- had to restart a new post ==

So for the last day, we had to wake up extra early for the city tour and of course the visit to IMU ( International Medical University i think ) where they specialize in training medical professionals

Woke up at 6 plus and got ready to squeeze last minute things like shampoo and pyjamas into the luggage bag and then went down to the restaurant for breakfast Went back up to check if i left anything Later, went back down for check out and line up to leave the hotel

Went to IMU first and had a great talk with Professor Peter Pook He was a great host i might say, having humour and intonation compared to other hosts We then were split into different groups and our group was led by Leon, a soon-to-be Pharmacist i think or medical doctor.. I forgot lol

It came to our knowledge that IMU used to be a College and the university building now used to be a mall so they had escalators and 24/7 of AIR-COND =) NICE! They had models of the human anatomy and the body parts They were also like preserved hand and legs that were cut (ugh) and kept in a jar filled with some kind of liquid

We then had a lil lunch and snack before our group photo and departure to go sight-seeing around KL Drove past Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad and also the mosque at Putrajaya and most of the national landmarks so yea, it was nice especially the unique pinkish mosque that was like floating on the lake ( don't have pictures sorry )

Drove all the way to the airport, checked in our luggage and went off on our own for maybe some lunch again or some shopping again.. I went around some of the shops to see any souvenir shops and once again, bought some souvenirs.. Went over to KFC and saw 3C students with Cikgu Danny eating KFC.. I bought like a small meal to eat- a burger, french fries and a piece of meat ( that was like few minutes before we check into the waiting lounge)

I finished eating and rushed to the waiting lounge and later boarded the plane back to Kuching Arrived at Kuching at like 4.45 coz there were complications due to the bad weather and to be truthful, i felt nauseous when the plane went up and down and i almost threw up lol Heard that Cikgu Danny held onto the arm-rest for his dear God guarded life ( Yvonne sat next to him so she would have known hahaha )

Upon waiting for my luggage, i saw one of my mum's friends and for i don't know what reason, but i spoke to her in Foochow ( knowing that she was Foochow and trust me, my Foochow word pronunciations are bad ) But i managed all the easy words ( hopes to save my mum some face =) ) I then got my bag and later went home

On the way home, i texted Joce who was STILL in KK.. SHOPPING wo and yea she said she was gonna be back next Monday (which was last Monday * this week i mean *)so yea

Sorry for the late post, have been busy and lazy with other events =) Will post about the Halloween party and the team-building thing tomorrow

Anyways, BACK TO MY REVIEW ( I know it's boring but i have nothing better to do so yea, Emily, i memang very eng hahahaha since i can't go out anymore =( )

~DAY 3~
So we woke up for breakfast and then we proceeded to somewhere which i forgot (LOL) emm BUT! I do remember us going to One Utama for like a shopping trip till 1pm i think and we had to have lunch there but in our own expense

At One Utama, i went walking alone again and almost got lost (It was like Midvalley just that it had like the other courts behind some other court so yea i was confused but managed to walk out) I found Burger King for lunch and saw James, J.Long, Winston at one table and another table had Wei Xin, Josephine and Jesmond I walked in like a loner and went to buy lunch, and went to a table and ate behind Jesmond and Wei Xin Was then invited to join them for lunch and later go for final shopping and changing

When i was changing, i found out that i forgot to bring my slippers for Sunway so i had no choice but to buy a new pair of flip-flops at Cotton On which cost like RM39 at original and then if you buy something from the shop, the price will be RM15 so i was like desperate for Wei Xin they all to buy something which later they did so yea THANKS BY THE WAY WEI XIN! =) Oh and thanks Cikgu Danny for helping me pick the colour ( He asked me to pick either pink or lime green coz

A) They're bright (like neon i think)
B) They're easy to spot if they fall off the roller-coaster

(this was all according to Cikgu Danny which i agree =) )
- i picked Pink instead coz it's nicer =) )

We were like late and we were the last four to go back to the bus but we managed and went to SUNWAY!!!

At Sunway, we went to the hotel to line up first in our flip-flops and short pants Later we all went for toilet break upon reaching the Lagoon and yea, after that we got our watches and went off into the parks to play

** We were banned from going to

a) Tomohawk
b) The pools- Wave pool, surf pool and other pools la coz our life might be in danger ( drowning )

so yea and plus there were so many of the rides closed for maintenance HOW UNFORTUNATE! ugh**

Anyways, we went for like the dry rides first i think like the floating float thingy where Yong, Dawn, Mike, Che Yik, Jess and I sat in.. It was ok la..But Mike's "slippers" were wet ( He used hotel slippers ) but he was ok =) We then went to the Colorado Splash which was the long log thingy where 3 people sit in and i sat with Dawn and Mike in front of me.. Was so scared sitting at the back

I remembered that Huai Xuan asked us to shout " Wo Yau Hui Jia!" as in " I want to go home!" in Chinese and i didn't BUT!! I did sing something when we were going up hahaha We sang LODGE SCHOOL SONG while we were going up but we couldn't finish the song before we zoomed down but yea, it was scary but fun

We went to the wet park next but before that we took like 2 pictures with 2 random strangers and Yong and I were like the only ones who dared to go and take picture with them while the others were kinda forced into the picture ( hmm Malaysians hahaha kind to always take pictures)

Dawn and Fira and Che Yik went on the Pirate's Revenge thing Before they went up, we all gathered at the bottom to see Luq and Von they all riding the ride for the second time and we heard like screams ( obviously ) that Cikgu Danny also couldn't bare to hear hahaha

We went to like the mat thingy where we can slide down and stuff and yea those were only rides i went and there was this freaking useless annoying pool so=called lifeguard who was really rude to Jess and I coz Bran left his phone with me for safe-keeping and i was holding it and i walked in to get the phone from Bran and then the stupid person said " No slippers.. Aiyo, go play also bring phone..Wallet also, Keep in the locker la!"

Then he look over to Jess and said " No jeans" and like give the beh song face like that wo ( RACIST i tell you! lol) (ok, i know they had rules but it would have been nicer if there was a "Please".. TRUST ME.. It would have been easier and better sheesh)

Later after he spoiled my mood, we all went back to the shower place and took our stuff out from the locker ( It cost us RM5 for one token for one small locker WTH ) We showered and went off for shopping at Sunway Pyramid

Walked around AGAIN and bought nothing.. Went for dinner (our last dinner at KL) at a Chinese restaurant and there we celebrated Emily's birthday one day earlier And we also did the traditional YAM SHENG!! Well it's actually for weddings la but still =) we were in the mood for it anyways and i envied the Malay students.. They had KFC hahaha

We went back to the hotel after that and went for our final shopping and before we went shopping, we had a big surprise.. FREDA came and see us at the lobby! I was like " OMG! FREDA?!" and we like hugged so tightly SO MISS HER!! I went off for my own shopping and later met with Lester and the gang Went for souvenir shopping for a while and went up to the top floor where the food court was and walked around with Freda again

Went back to my room at 10+ (roll call was at 10.30) half an hour earlier coz we need to pack for tomorrow's departure and check out

Ok gonna really finish the post for KL tomorrow GOODNESS didn't know that the third day would be this long of a post
